Personal Bio:

Based in Marin County, California, Pascal Garneau works as a freelance sound editor at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, California. His sound credits include major Hollywood feature films such as INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL (Lucasfilm), TRANSFORMERS (Dreamworks SKG), ZODIAC (Warner Bros/ Paramount), as well as several independent feature films and shorts. Pascal takes an active interest in the latest tools and technology, however he is quick to point out that these things really are "just tools" and that great sound design is only as good as its ability to tell a story. "I’ve seen big-budget films with unremarkable sound design and I’ve also seen tiny indie-films where the sound made the hair on my arms stand up." Pascal has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio & Television from San Francisco State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Music from College of Marin. In addition to his work at Skywalker Sound, he continues to work on independent projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
